Today, the Team at Teads officially welcomed its newest member, Todd Tran, who will take on the role as Teads’ Global SVP of Programmatic and Mobile. Coming from Milennial Media, Tran will now lead the development of Teads’ growing supply-side platform (SSP), as well as exchange and mobile offerings. Ultimately, Tran’s work will help even more publishers around the world gain access to our technology, opening up more video inventory on their sites and raising revenue.
Our marketing is evolving aggressively in favor of the cross screen revolution. Already, mobile advertising is expected to top $100 billion worldwide in 2015, with mobile video representing $197 million of that spend. Additionally, it’s worth noting that the means by which people buy and sell mobile video is leaning towards programmatic, as publishers are reported to have spent a total of $700 million in programmatic video in the US alone. In lieu of this understanding, Christophe Parcot, Teads’ COO commented that Tran’s hire represents our “commitment to giving our clients the best mobile and programmatic video advertising experience.”
