Teads Team Players: Jenna Capitoni

To close out International Women’s Day, our last Team Player is a woman from Switzerland.

Jenna Capitoni, a member of the STA team.

1.Tell us about your journey to, and within, Teads

I joined Teads about 2 Years ago as Global Industry Manager Luxury after having started my career at Chanel and Cartier, Idecided to move to London to join a tech company before Teads where I learned about digital advertising and programmatic. Teads’ role opportunity appeared as a logical next step in my career as I wanted to use both experiences to reconcile luxury with digital media and programmatic. I was also very excited to join a fast-growing company that broke the industry codes with a unique offer that represents a perfect solution for luxury advertisers.

2. What does being a team player means to you?

For me, a great team player helps others to succeed first and gives enough space to other people’s ideas and perspectives in the workplace. A Good Team Player is also very active and takes initiative to get things done without waiting to be asked.  Finally having a positive attitude and motivate your colleagues can make a huge difference for a group to win the party! It’s all about communication and people mindset.

3. What woman inspires you and why?

All women that I meet who don’t back off before difficulties and who persist till they get what they want. One day someone shared with me “persistence kills resistance” and I found it very inspiring especially as being a Woman in a male-dominated industry. There a lot of inspiring women that I admire a lot and who are a great example of tenacity such as Amelia Earhart, Simone Veil or Serena Williams.

4. If you could go back and give your teenage self advice for the future, what would it be?

Step out of your comfort zone and take advantages of being in a new (challenging) situation.

5.What is the most memorable piece of advice you ever received?

Always come with a long-term plan in mind and think about what’s next after next.

6. Within the next year, what do you wish to accomplish?

Win more ad revenue market share on YouTube and Facebook (:-))! Accomplish successful projects with our clients and contribute to our company growth.

7. What is your biggest wish/hope for the next generation of successful women?

The day when women awards won’t exist anymore
