New York/London, 15 June 2017 – Teads, the inventor of outstream video and the number one video advertising marketplace in the world, returns to France for Cannes Lions 2017. Teads will be hosting multiple thought leadership events bringing together the best minds in the industry to explore ways to improve the current advertising ecosystem.
Teads will be partnering with the AMP Project, She Runs It and Tim Urban to bring some of the industry’s most talked about topics to life. This thought leadership series, titled Teads Salon, will take place during the week aboard the Teads yacht ‘Thumper’ and at the Cannes Lions Official Beach Bar.
The AMP Project and Teads will explore how speed is benefiting both advertisers and publishers in the pursuit of optimal user experience.
To determine why more women are not advancing in leadership in the marketing and media industry, She Runs It completed the industry’s most comprehensive research benchmark in the U.S. Teads is honored to be partnering for a two-part series to examine why the gender parity problem prevails. Sheila Buckley from Business Insider, Janet Balis from Ernst & Young, Matt Derella from Twitter, Jill Kelly from Digitas, Amanda Richman from Starcom, Mariso Thalberg from Taco Bell, and Jacki Kelley, President of Investment and Activation, Bloomberg Media will analyze She Runs It’s latest research and discuss how to break through gender barriers.
During the second content session, attendees will hear inspirational stories from our speakers about their personal challenges and experiences while providing their perspective on how to shape the future of women in the industry. Presenters include Nicolle Pangis from GroupM, Linda Yaccarino from NBCU, Michael Roth from IPG, Lisa Donohue from Starcom, Dana Anderson from Medialink, and Pam El from NBA.
The final salon will be a one of a kind session with the prolific TED speaker, Tim Urban. Tim will discuss how artificial intelligence combined with compelling creative and interactive experiences creates a more impactful user experience and provides advertisers a unique edge to reach their target customers.
In addition to the informative salons, partners, guests and clients are welcome to join the team on yacht ‘Thumper’, in the port of Cannes, for a host of other social activities including a three-night unplugged music series.
