Teads are pleased to partner with the Dentsu Aegis Network’s Million Makers team to help raise money for The Prince’s Trust.
For those not familiar with the charity, The Prince’s Trust began in 1976, when HRH The Prince of Wales became dedicated to improving the lives of disadvantaged young people in the UK, in a time where the UK was struggling with record levels of unemployment. Now approaching its 40th anniversary, The Prince’s Trust has helped 825,000 young people across the UK.
The Trust is a key CSR partner of the Dentsu Aegis Network. One of The Trust’s initiatives is a scheme in which a young person with a business idea can apply for funding, initial business training and a mentor so they can set up their own business.
In reflection of this entrepreneurial spirit, The Prince’s Trust challenges its corporate partners to partake in a ‘Dragon’s Den’ style competition called Million Makers in order to raise money to transform young lives. The Dentsu Aegis Million Makers team pitched for £1,500 in funding which they were then tasked to turn into a £10,000 profit or more.
This is where the UK team at Teads were happy to help. As their six months of fundraising comes to a close, Dentsu Aegis’ Million Makers team has culminated with an amazing Payday Party in the heart of London, with Teads as its premium sponsor.
All proceeds from the tickets sold will go towards the team’s Million Makers fundraising and ultimately The Prince’s Trust. The party will also host a live auction with some top prizes, including VIP tickets to Mumford and Sons, an iWatch and many more.
If you’d like to donate to the Dentsu Aegis’ Million Makers fundraising efforts then you can do so through their JustGiving, or bid in their silent auction following the Payday Party (details to follow).
