Has video matured enough as a medium to be considered mainstream and to take a seat at the top table?
That’s the question being asked at the IAB’s Video Conference taking place next week on November 26th.
Considering the results of the lastest IAB ad spend report it seems the answer is yes. With display taking the largest share of the digital mix in H1 (33%) and the highest like for like growth (27.5%), video is worth £292 million so far in 2015. In 2014, it totalled £442 million.
The conference, taking place at 30 Euston Square, will look at what’s next for this rapidly growing medium. At 2.20pm, UK Managing Director Justin Taylor will be speaking on the shifting video marketing and looking at how far it has come.
The day closes with a debate on the hottest topic of the moment – Ad blocking. The debate will feature participants from AdBlockPlus and Shine versus PageFair and Ooyala – definitely something not to miss.
As sponsors we also have a stand presence where we’ll be during the breaks, along with some Teads goodies. Get in touch if you’d like to book in some time with our Sales and Publishing reps.
