Teads was proud to sponsor and speak at VideoNuze’s Online Video Ad Summit in New York yesterday. An all-day event, the summit brought together the industry’s biggest names in digital video technology, media and marketing. The summit’s agenda explored headline topics, like programmatic’s future, the shaky definitions of viewability, and creative strategies to optimize online video campaigns. We had a great time meeting with likeminded digital video enthusiasts at our booth and chatting outstream solutions.
Right before an hour of cocktails and networking, Teads’ SVP of Business Development, Eric Shih, took the stage as a featured panelist for a chat about ‘The Wild West of Online Video Ad Innovation.’ Jesse Redniss, Co-founder of BRaVe Ventures moderated Shih’s discussion with Adobe’s Principal Product Evangelist Noah Levine, and Akamai’s Product Director of Media Business Solutions Corey Halverson. Dynamic and engaging, one of the session’s key debates concerned how data from social media could be used to elevate video performance. While the other panelists expressed their approval for the perspective, Shih countered, saying that content creators and publishers should focus more on their own data pool – that way, they are not distracted or limited by external data, and will ultimately improve their capacity to target and understand their own unique audience.
Ultimately, the summit was a huge success, and Teads was thrilled to be part of it. Cheers to future insightful industry conversations and events!
